What is our mission?

AFHRA's mission is described below as outline in our constitution

  • To detect, prevent and treat cardiac arrhythmias in Africa; 

 

  • To educate and train African healthcare professionals on the management of arrhythmogenic disorders and their outcomes; 

 

  • To educate laypersons to recognize and prevent risk factors for cardiac arrhythmia;

 

  • To invest in the research of cardiac arrhythmias and conduction disturbances as well as in sport cardiology.
